When will this nonsense end?
Barely four days ago, Sarah Palin blamed the news media and citizens demanding accountability for her quitting as governor in that weird “You won’t have Dick Nixon to kick around anymore” resignation speech she gave on the banks of Lake Louise. But to give journalists – if not concerned [...]

We’ve fallen down a media rabbit-hole and there is no way back. Senators, Representatives and UK MPs say whatever they want and are assured their corporate media interviewer mouthpieces will not have the spine to pin them down or ask tough questions about the ridiculous nature of the partisan pronouncements. Why, because of [...]

I’ve been angrily watching George Bush and Karl Rove lie with impunity. Living abroad for 10-years their FCC appointees systematically took decisions that eliminated media accountability, competition and created a war propaganda machine for the Administration using the public airwaves. A we saw in the financial crisis, a very few, very rich, white [...]

Tim Russert and his lo-tech dry erase white board will not be with us this election night. Chuck Todd, NBC political director, master of polls and fairly well grounded prognosticator has a cool new toy from MSNBC’s partners at Microsoft. It rivals the cool touch screen Anderson Cooper plays with over at CNN.
The problem, [...]

CNN’s Campbell Brown made headlines by asking tough questions of a McCain surrogate, letting the poor guy twist and embarrass himself, continually counter-punching with the same unanswered question. It was brutal and much needed (like the poor guy eviscerated by Chris Matthews on MSNBC’s Hardball trying to label Obama an appeaser like Chamberlain in WWII [...]
