Posted on 03 September 2008 by Denis Campbell | Comments (0) | Tags: 18-hours of darkness during the winter, a momentary lapse, abject fear, allow torture, any way possible, balance your own teachings, bloviate, boots on the ground in Iraq (except my kid), brainwashes their Kool-Aid drinking cult members, channelling the late Don LaFontaine, cheat, continent, corrupt Administration, creationism, crucify Senator Obama if one of his kids (obviously at, damnation, deliver a Shakespearean soliloquy, demanding that God Bless America, destroy the economy, develops a spine, dogma, e-mails campaigns, energised the base, Europe, every Democrat is the bogeyman, exact vows of chastity from your kids, fights back, find forgiveness, flip-flop on issues, fossils like ‘Law and Order’ actor Fred Thompson, fourteen years, fully informed, Garrison Keillor, Give Me Back My Country and My God, Give us back our country, guilt, hide behind so-called Patriotic fundamentalist Christia, hiding behind flag pins, highest rates of teenage unprotected sex in the USA, holier than thou platform, Holland, horrific charges, how do you justify the failure of your own dogma and te, immolated the Party’s chances, in a menacing voice says, intelligent design, it hellfire, it’s explainable, Joe Lieberman, judgement, Juneau Alaska, Just say no?, kids make informed choices, Lake Woebegone sketch, lie, lie its way into war, McCain, Nancy Reagan, not the UK, on-camera political suicide, one party dictate a far whacked-out right wing agenda, one strays, over sex education and evolution, parents are realists, phony proselytising preacher, prefer education and protection, puberty hormones exploded everywhere, quaint puritanical notion, Queen Victoria still influences, refuses to acknowledge or own the failures of the last, remember what it was like to be a teenager, Republican base, Republican slips, Sarah Palin, sat on our hands, say ‘No’ to contraception, self-responsible, show your true colours as lobbyist loving politician, sound byte for an attack advert, stand in a militantly Christian church asking God for a, stop taking ownership of God, support his pal, teaching abstinence, tear down any opponents, tear up our treaties and relationships abroad, the attitude is refreshing, The Democratic Party, the end of the world as we know it, The Republican Party, they forgive you before you even ask, throwing his support behind a woman whose positions he, tolerant Carpenter of Galilee, trophy VP, understandable, use partisan politics to tear the country apart for 14-, want to deny a woman’s right to choose, we can get through this with more tax cuts, when a Democrat slips, ‘NOOOO’ to abortion, ‘No’ to condoms to stop STDs, “God says to cut the crap”
For fourteen years we’ve sat on our hands in abject fear, allowing one party to dictate a far whacked-out right wing agenda watching a corrupt Administration lie its way into war, destroy the economy, tear up our treaties and relationships abroad, allow torture and hide behind so-called Patriotic fundamentalist Christian values.
