With an injury depleted team, the sophmore sensation 2nd baseman strapped the team to his back and led them to within one game of a repeat visit to the World Series. Today he was named the American League’s Most Valuable Player by the baseball sportwriters. It’s not often our sports desk gets to write good news and this is GREAT for us in Red Sox Nation.
