Darell Issa is worried as his own poll shows Trump is a drag.

The LA Times reports that the chair of the House Committee on Oversight and Government reform who narrowly won re-election in November would face a steep uphill climb if the election were held today. His support of Donald Trump during the campaign is now coming back to haunt him, despite being one of the first Republicans in Congress to call for an independent investigation into the Russian election hack.

“An internal poll by Issa’s campaign showed a nearly 10-percentage point drop in his favorability ratings between mid-October and early December — and that one likely reason the lawmaker’s image took a hit was because of his support for President Trump.”
