(Another interesting week for the Laffy and Paddy at The Political Carnival.net. Michele Bachmann’s ethically challenged husband, Sarah and Bristol Palin’s book signing flop and trouble in paradise (aka his home state) for New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. Enjoy! -Ed.)
Below is a screen grab of an excerpt from the Bachmann & Associates, Inc. clinic overview, the same clinic run by Michele Bachmann’s husband, the same clinic that received “big government handouts“, the same handouts that Michele denied she and Mr. Michele benefited from.
In the contract was this provision:
XXIII.3 “GRANTEE agrees that no religious based counseling shall take place under the auspices of this grant.”
Now here is just one excerpt from the “program overview”. There are others that are similar:
If she and her husband can’t adhere to such a simple rule, and if Candidate Michele can’tcomprehend basic facts and/or rules in general, it’s a safe bet to state unequivocally, right here and right now, that she is unqualified to hold the office of president, or vice president… or any other public office, for that matter.
Oh how the mighty have fallen. Hehe. Via Wonkette.
The rules set up by Mall of America officials for Sarah and Bristol Palin’s book signing yesterday seemed to have been written in anticipation of an army of fans.
“‘Camping out’ is not allowed,” the rules read. “Beginning at 5 a.m., guests will be allowed to line up.”
But there was no teeming crowd of rabid Palinites at 5 a.m. And less than a half hour into the appearance of Bristol, Sarah, and Todd Palin, the crowd had dwindled to a trickle of latecomers.
Perhaps sensing that MOA’s rotunda would not necessarily be mobbed by rabid Dancing with the Stars fans, Sarah Palin decided to tag along as well, revisiting the site where she was nearly tomatoed and signed a copy of our Michele Bachmann cover story “Going Crazy.”
Maybe she thought she had some star power. And Wednesday’s rules stipulated that no one got Sarah Palin’s autograph unless they bought Bristol’s book.
Savvy. But by the time the Palins took the stage, one estimate put the number of autograph seekers at about 300 people, all lined up to be wanded and watched over by a phalanx of Bloominton cops before getting to the Palins’ table.
It keeps getting worse and worse for Pudgy Jeebus, so much so that by the end of his term he’s going to have to take a military convoy out…
A new Bloomberg New Jersey poll finds 51% of New Jersey residents say they wouldn’t back Gov. Chris Christie for a second term, “disapproving of his choices on a range of policy and personal issues, from killing a commuter tunnel to using a state-police helicopter to attend his son’s baseball game.”
Said pollster Ann Selzer: “It just feels as though Christie misread the public on education or believed that he had to go that far in cutting the budget. Even if it’s the latter, he didn’t rhetorically sell it to his audience properly. They’re not with him.”
